HISPEC is a series of high-performance high-temperature incubators offered by ETAC. The HISPEC series is suitable for a wide range of applications from research to heat treatment and drying in production lines, and is available in a diverse lineup including horizontal and vertical models. 200°C to 500°C specifications are selectable, allowing you to choose the optimum model for your application and sample characteristics. Highly accurate temperature control backed by our long-standing technology is realized with emphasis on safety and reliability.

In addition to constant value operation and auto start function operation, 2-step pattern operation 1-3 are standard specifications. Each of these pattern operations can be set to repeat, and one-touch operation is all that is required for the second and subsequent operations.

Abnormal judgment detection step

HISPEC monitors multiple temperature changes in the tank, and in the event of abnormal temperatures, multi-layered safety controls are activated, shutting off the heater circuit as necessary to ensure safety.

Response to changes in tank temperature

The HISPEC series is equipped with a threefold over-temperature protection mechanism to prevent abnormal temperature rises in the tank. First, a soft-controlled over-temperature limiter is activated, and if for some reason it is not activated, a hard-controlled over-temperature limiter is activated next. If the over-temperature protection still fails to stop, a thermal fuse finally interrupts the circuit to ensure safety in a multilayered manner.

HISPEC horizontal type

The horizontal model is the standard model of the HISPEC series. It heats a large sample chamber efficiently and combines stable temperature distribution performance with ease of operation.

Highly accurate temperature distribution performance by eliminating overshoot

In addition to an in-vessel structure that takes advantage of many years of chamber technology, the use of a propeller fan with high air volume greatly improves circulation performance. Excellent temperature distribution performance of ±1.5°C (±2.0°C for #40 type and above) and high stability are realized.

Functions can be switched according to purpose

The hot air circulation function and the unidirectional hot air exhaust function can be used separately by switching the ventilation damper on the front, lower left or upper left side of the main unit. This function can be flexibly adapted according to the sample and purpose.

Simple maintenance zones

The number of parts used has been thoroughly reduced to improve reliability in long-term operation. As a result, the number of maintenance requirements has been greatly reduced, and the reliability of the entire system has been further enhanced.

Unitization of heater section realizes cost reduction

ETAC's uniquely designed heater section is commonized with other models by unitization. Cost reduction and standardization of assembly processes are realized.


HISPEC Vertical

The space-saving design of this vertical model enables processing of a large number of samples while reducing the footprint. Forced circulation by a sirocco fan provides sufficient uniform heating even when the distance between samples is relatively narrow.

The main unit is vertically oriented and the exhaust port is located on the ceiling. This saves space in the installation area.

Capable of heat treating many samples at the same time

Hot air circulation is forced by a sirocco fan, which ensures sufficient circulation efficiency even when the distance between specimens is relatively small, allowing heat treatment of many specimens at the same time.

Heater unit with excellent durability

Sheathed heaters are standard equipment, enabling safe and long-term continuous use even when a large number of samples are loaded.

Dial damper knob

The damper knob is a dial type, allowing the degree of opening to be determined at a glance. It is also equipped with a lock mechanism to prevent accidental operation.

Adoption of heat-resistant decorative frames for control equipment

A heat-resistant decorative frame is used to prevent adverse effects on control equipment caused by opening and closing the door, even during high-temperature operation.

Improved safety when opening and closing doors during operation

Opening the door during high-temperature operation activates the door limit switch and stops the circulation fan, preventing workers from being blown by the hot air.


HISPEC S type with explosion vent

This high-temperature unit with explosion vent is suitable for environments where flammable gas (vapor) is generated during drying. In the event of an explosion, the pressure is safely released from the exhaust vent in the ceiling to protect workers and the surrounding environment. However, it cannot be used when large amounts of flammable vapors are generated.

Equipped with vents to exhaust wind pressure completely

A pressure-relief opening (vent) is installed in the ceiling. Venting is safe in the event of an explosion.

Safety-conscious structure

The exhaust section is securely covered to a height of 1.8 m above the floor. The door perimeter is equipped with a locking mechanism that makes it easy to open and close while maintaining sufficient strength.

HISPEC K type Hot air forced exhaust type

This is a hot-air exhaust type high-temperature unit developed for heat treatment of secondary vulcanization as typified by silicone rubber. It uses a one-way complete exhaust system that efficiently discharges gases during vulcanization to the outside of the tank, thereby enhancing the safety of the work environment.

Discharge of vulcanized folded material to the outside

Fresh air induction and forced exhaust increases circulation efficiency, and treatment is performed without affecting vulcanized materials or external components.

Double swinging door for easy operation

Double-sliding structure reduces the opening radius to half. Improves productivity during high-temperature operations.

Easy-to-operate control functions

Auto start/stop/weight functions are standard, allowing easy operation with one-touch operation the next time.


HISPEC HG type High temperature tank with safety specifications for solvent drying

The HG type is a high-temperature unit with safety specifications for solvent drying, designed based on the concept that "safety takes precedence over everything else. It can safely perform heating and drying operations that involve the generation of flammable vapors, such as ceramic molding processes and drying after cleaning electronic components.

Adoption of forced exhaust system

A forced exhaust airflow system is used to blow air inside the tank. Flammable gases generated in the tank are constantly exhausted to the outside, preventing their concentration from rising.

Gas concentration alarm as standard equipment

Equipped with a high-temperature compatible gas concentration alarm to monitor the inside of the test chamber at all times. It is equipped with a safety function that enables operation only when the gas concentration is below the lower limit.

People-friendly safety design

The door structure is designed for ease of operation and safety, with a simple locking mechanism and safety interlock. Equipped with an uninterruptible power supply, the ventilation continues for a certain period of time even during a power failure.

HISPEC N type Non-oxidation incubator

Heat treatment of components with copper or silver electrodes requires careful attention to the relationship between temperature and oxide film. HISPEC N type guarantees a residual oxygen concentration of 100ppm or less, realizing a heat treatment environment with minimal oxidation. It enables high-performance and low-cost non-oxidation testing, contributing to worker safety and productivity improvement.

Guaranteed residual oxygen concentration of 100ppm or less

It can stably reproduce residual oxygen concentrations of 100 ppm or less while reducing the amount of N₂ gas used to 1/5 of the conventional level.

Improved temperature lowering mechanism

Ability to lower temperature from 250°C with the door closed is 1.5 times faster than conventional units. Expands the workable area. If further shortening is required, a water cooling mechanism (optional) is available.

Temperature uniformity

Temperature distribution performance of ±3.5°C (at 250°C setting) is guaranteed. Improves heat treatment yield.


HISPEC H type High-temperature unit

This model is suitable for heat resistance tests and high temperature life tests of inorganic materials such as ceramics and various metals, and engineering plastics at MAX500℃. It can be operated safely and precisely even in high temperature ranges.

High performance and high precision

Reaches MAX500°C in about 60 to 70 minutes. Unique PID control suppresses overshoot and provides excellent temperature distribution inside the tank.

Designed with safety in mind

Triple safety mechanism against abnormal temperatures (over-temperature limiter, upper limit setting, and thermal fuse). Door lock mechanism and highly sealed structure with double packing for long time use.
